It's a sort of convoluted twist, but the story is this: The people in the "Do Right BJU" group that Camille Lewis founded to attack Chuck Phelps are claiming that Phelps lied about not knowing that Dan Leaf was an abuser.
Chuck Phelps has never denied knowing Dan Leaf was convicted of child abuse. What Phelps stated was that Tina never came to him to tell him Dan Leaf sexually abused her.
At Laurie own website, she presents sworn testimony where Chuck Phelps does say that he knew Dan Leaf had abused.
Wayne: Were you aware that Dan Leaf had abused the children?
Phelps: I knew that Dan was incarcerated for crimes against minors. Tina never told me her dad sexually abused her.
Is that the same Laurie Moody that was asked to resign at Trinity because she was caught drinking?
ReplyDeleteWhat's interesting to me is that the more these people keep lying about Chuck Phelps and BJU, the better they make them look, because the lies are just so very bizarre in light of all the evidence that's contrary to their claims.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking Jocelyn is just about to bust a gut trying to keep from calling them mole rats or whatever that term is she uses for people she says are acting like they're for her but actually against her.
The problem Laurie seems to have is that she's made so many claims at so many different places that she can't keep them all straight.
